The God and the intelligent
And God called on his people and asked them to choose a leader. He said the leader will guide you, will move you
towards a better future. So, his people went away to choose a leader and God waited. And waited, kinda getting bored
in the process, and he must have slept off for a bit, because when he looked down again, people had gone from listening to
Nirvana to Snoop Dog. Anyway, what's done is done because unlike Marvel, he couldn't go back in time and fix things(or try to).
After about a year, his people finally came back and presented to him a monkey. Bewildered, he asked them for an explanation.
"Lord, this is the only one we can trust because he does not have the brains to trick any of us. And most importantly
for us, he nodded when we asked him whether he believes in you". God looked to the intelligent he had created and asked
them whether they agreed. They said to each other-"There is nothing we can do. Majority wins and unfortunately, the
majority consists of fools". Having heard the will of his people, God let the monkey be crowned as the most powerful man
in the world.
A few days hence, God saw that a big group of strong people was beating up a smaller,feebler group. He quickly summoned
his envoy and asked for an explanation. The envoy said-"Lord, the monkey has decreed that they be beaten up because they
have a lot of banana trees in their backyard. He wants all the bananas brought to him so he can distribute them as
he sees fit. He says that this proper distribution of bananas is necessary for the survival of humankind". The Lord
turned to the intelligent who were talking among themselves-"The monkey's actions were totally despicable. Everybody doesn't
need bananas. There are apples and oranges to eat also". But the Lord did not intervene as most of his people did not
seem to want him to.

In a few more days, humankind was at war. Everyone seemed to have gone bananas. "Bananas, bananas", they chanted, "we want bananas".
But it was really not bananas they wanted, in their heart they knew they could do without them, it was power.

At this, God could stand no more and looked to the intelligent and shouted-" How could you have let it come to this?
How could you let the fools take over?". All but one of the intelligent ignored him, but one, who was semi-intelligent,
looked straight at him and said-" I don't see how you can complain. After all, it is the fools that have created you
too." And after this outburst, he ignored god too.
